Social Events

Gamma Phi Beta members enjoy a variety of social events throughout the year. Gamma Phi hosts four chapter social date parties per year with themes ranging from “Seventies Date Party” to our Moonstruck Semi-Formal event. In addition to hosting chapter social events, Gamma Phis participate in a variety of mixers with the other Greek councils. Below are some of Psi Chapter’s favorite and highly anticipated social events of the year:

Jarty Denim Party

Last Spring, our members decked out head-to-toe in denim gear. We danced and celebrated the greatest era in fashion.

Rhyme Without Reason

For our first date party this Fall, we tested our creativity by dressing as pairs of words that rhyme but have nothing to do with each other. The pairs ranged from “Finding Dory and Toy Story” to “Tom Cruise and Blues Clues”

Seventies Date Party

We threw it back to the seventies for our second Fall date party. Grove-approved outfits and plenty of disco music made for the perfect night.

Moonstruck

One of our most anticipated events of the year is our semi-formal, Moonstruck. Chapter members enjoy a night of dancing and great views at a special venue.

Our other social events include Alumnae mixers, chapter retreats, big/little reveal, football game day tailgates at the house, Mom’s and Dad’s day celebrations, sisterhood events, and more!
